When a special property has been in a family for generations, it's a great idea to do an extended family photography session there to capture the heritage and history and to ultimately tell your family story. Our lives are so busy, it's often hard to get everybody together to spend time together and gather. Gathering is important not only for photographs but also to slow the pace of this fast paced life.
This property is the home of Station 66 in Battle Creek. Station 66 was an old gas station that was owned and operated by the family since the early 1900's. After sitting vacant for decades, the restaurant was refurbished. When not working in the restaurant and entertaining other families, this crew likes to spend time together in the old farmhouse, gazebo, gardens and orchards. Take a peek at this lovely extended family gathering.
