Last of the Fall Color

Every session has it's challenges. When I photograph a family with younger children, I spend a lot of time chasing toddlers and trying to incoporate interactive games to catch their natural expressions. For this session, I had the challenge of engaging the teenage audience and making them not only smile but laugh. My hunch told me that a game of "peekaboo" was not going to get me the same results as it does with my younger audience. We also had the challenge of weather. We had to reschedule this session and were hoping to capture some of the remaining fall color. We spent a little over an hour together on one of the last days of fall. It was an awesome afternoon and not only did we capture some real laughter, we also captured the fall color we were hoping for. We even got some portraits of Cocoa, the family dog. Such a special family! Take a peek.
