How do you get an 8 year old boy to want to take pictures? Well, I started by telling him I knew a special little spot where we could find a really cool black and yellow snake and I was really having a difficult time deciding what type of snake it was. Of course, he was needed to help me figure this out. Refer to Drake and the Snake here. My invitation definitely piqued his interest and we soon had a deal (I was desperately hoping we wouldn't run into my reptile friend again but it was worth the risk to get the pics we needed!). Soon, we were off on a nature walk with this family of four and their extremely photogenic dog, Pippa. Thankfully, there were no snake encounters but we did capture some great moments and we all received some special Pippa kisses (and I will take those over a snake any day!).
