I got up at sunrise to meet this family on a farm on the East side of town. We spent the morning finding cows and chickens and wondering through whimsical gardens. This family is full of "Southern Charm" (and knock-knock jokes). I loved seeing the family heirlooms they incorporated into the shoot, including a toy that was grandma's when she was little. Mom brought some fantastic blankets (that she hand knitted) and it all added to the charm (along with M's awesome cow impression).
