When we booked this session late winter, my clients and I were sooo excited for Spring. We pictured images with dandelions and open meadows with kids frolicking in the sun. That's not exactly what we got. We met at 9am on a flat / grey winterish day and the lighting was opaque and flat. So, we changed gears and shot inside and got some excellent pics of these sweet girls (and Gus the dog!) We stayed close to windows for window lighting and used books as a natural reflector. Goes to show, not everything goes as planned - but isn't that life with kids? In the end, we captured some timeless images of this awesome family.
