I have a background in education and marketing and have been a photographer in Kalamazoo, Michigan since 2013. I love photographing families of all ages and commercial clients with an interest in beautiful imagery for their brands.
When I don't have a camera in my hand, I can be found teaching English to middle school English Language Learners (ELL). In my work with ELL students, we often rely on photographs to communicate meaning and stories. Despite our different cultures and backgrounds, the photograph brings us together, reminding us that we are more alike than we are different.

As an artist, I seek to find the space where human expression and connection intersect with beautiful natural light. It is in this space that I love to create and find the story.
